Women’s Ministry

Women’s Fellowship of Calvary Baptist Church is one of the strongest prayers supporting ministries. Women meet every Saturday at 4 p.m. for a prayer fellowship. The first Saturday of every month is devoted for intercessory prayers. On the second Saturday, the church pastors share the Word to encourage women and on the third Saturday; Pastoramma (pastor’s wife) shares the word. The remaining Saturdays, women with rich spiritual experience are invited to share in women meetings.

Every third Saturday is devoted to visiting the sick. Most of the women visit hospitals, leprosy homes, HIV patients, old age homes, orphan homes and preach Gospel to them. Calvary Baptist Church women participate in every woman’s conference that happen within the city of Visakhapatnam and had won many competitions (Bible quiz, singing etc.).

Further, women involve in arranging Food stalls during the Harvest Festival and raise funds for the church. The Calvary Baptist Church, for the spiritual edification of women, conducts women’s conference. Women are active in the Gospel Camps of the Church and mostly in the “Everyday Door to Door Evangelism.”
